If you are currently shopping around for a small HD TV for your guestroom, kitchen, bedroom, office or kid's room, you just have to get your hands on the Sharp LC19SB27UT. It is currently one of the best mainstream 19-inch HD TV in the market. This model is perfect for casual use, thanks to its very affordable price tag, great performance and decent specs.
The new Sharp LC19SB27UT is a 720p HD TV. It is a very straightforward, no-nonsense TV model with an easy set up and a very user-friendly remote control. You can mount the TV to a wall with a wall mount (which I did) that was also very easy to do. This TV is an all black model. The front has a glossy black screen bezel that curves slightly at the bottom side, giving it a sleek appearance. The TV measures at 18.5 x 2.6 x 13.1 inches in dimensions.
The Sharp LC19SB27UT has a 60Mhz refresh rate and a 5ms pixel response time. It has a great viewing angle (170 degrees) where the images where still crisp and vibrant when being viewed at odd angles. It also has a standard array of connectors that includes a HDMI port, VGA input, AV jacks, and audio ports.
The set of built-in stereo speakers that comes with this model produces a total of 3 Watts in audio power. Whilst this is more than sufficient for small spaces, you might want to hook it up to some speakers if you are looking for a little extra audio power. This TV did a great job at playing HD videos and content. The visuals were sharp with decent black levels and color accuracy (especially for its size and price range). All in all, the Sharp LC19SB27UT has proven to a very versatile and competent mini HDTV. At the moment, it is retailing at just around 7 per unit!
